if so thats what i was afraid of. i dont know if you go to the other site, but i posted on there about why APS changed the design of the downpipe, they had one that was divorced, then one that had 2 separate pipes coming off the turbo. but they decided to go with the one we have. thats why my fab guy is making me a new one, i think the wastegate gases are being overcome by the exhaust gases making it stay open too long. hopefully it will help, i should get it back in a few days.
thats cool. that other site is kind of useless for anything other than **** talking. but i do remember your thread.
let me know what happens when you get your new down pipe. i am very anxious to hear.

Take it to somewhere else and have them take a look. Sometimes you need different mechanic's opinion or expertise. Did you or Sam try to wire shut the internal wastegate and see if the boost stays? But then if there's any crack or holes on the exhaust pipings or intake pipings you will loost the boost just as before.. Awhhh... This is complicated... I don't think you haven't looked hard enough to replace the turbo. Did you buy brand new APS ST or buy used?

even so wouldn't a forge actuator fix the issue? otherwise, it wouldn't be terribly difficult to just yank the internal actuator and setup an external gate.
