Default Finally Driven my SC Z

Well I am finally home rom Iraq and driven my Stillen Stage 2 and as I read over the past year FI is an addition. The car felt excellent. I cannot even imagine what 450 ft torque feels like. The money invested was very much worth it. It is enough power the street. I did notice a difference in the RPM range. But after a year of surviving over 150 mortars I can say that I am glad to be home. Aside from my wife my Z is going to make a good mistress.

Now what do I do about the RPM range? The car seems to run higer than it use to. I did not use 5 gear in manual mode prior to installation, now 5 gear runs all the to 6000 rpms. I do not have an upgraded valve body, so what is my next step. I am definately going to upgrade my internals this winter, so I can use some advice there but for now what do I do about the RPMs. I did not get the ar tuned because I did not th ink it needed with the stage 2.

I am really glad to have a FI car and just think I wanted to spend my money elsewhere. Guess the boat is going to have to wait. Good to be home. How many miles should I wait before I really drive the car hard.

welcome back man, what exactly do you mean by the RPM is differnet? What in particular is it doing? Does it seem like you are at a higher rpm at a given speed than before? Like traveling at 80 stock is at 3k rpm, is your car now at like 3500? Little more info would be great

The RPMS seems to run higher. When in auto I reach 6 or 7000 rpms when I am approaching 80 or 90 or when I hit the gas. Your last statement clearly is what I am talking about. Is this normal? you explain it better than me. i seem to get more range out of 1st gear than I did before.

Thanks for welcome home. It was pretty scary the last day. 11 mortars in one day, 30 seconds of boom boom boom. Life is going to be easy for a while.
