Default 3K burning a hole!!!

I am thinking on following in the tradition going with a GReddy TT kit and will have it tuned by Sharif! I am uninstalling my 3.9FD and with that cash hopefully picking up a UTEC from Chimmike!

I however have a chunk of change burning a hole in my pocket and am looking for the best way to spend the $$

should I hold off and just buy the kit or should I buy the supporting mods such as ATS twin disc clutch, Fuel System, Oil spacer etc... Looking for some advice and just to shoot the **** cause I am excitied to finally be going down the FI road!

Put it in a savings account and start saving for a built motor. I just got my turbo installed 3 weeks ago and Im already starting to save for my new long block.

Get a quote from your tuner of choice and discuss how much power you want to make on your stock engine. they can guide you as to what exactly you need to get there.

Before saving for a built engine, should worse come to worse, I would save for a second car if you dont already have one. Then save for the built engine.

If you have the money to do it right, go for it, just don't cut corners and be prepared for a bill that you will have to sit down to look at.

Edited because I have trouble reading on wednesdays

My problem is I have too many cars and not enough drivers!!!

But Yes I am looking @ about 450whp stock Rev-Up Internals with a HKS HG and probably some L19s or reg Arp Studs.

Here is my list!

ATS twin disc $2100 + JWT Flywheel $400
UTEC with Tuner Pro $1500
HKS HG $350
AAM fuel return w/ 550cc & Wallbro $1400
Oil pan spacer with AAM oil return kit for greddy $200
Defi BF Amber Imperial Boost & EGT $550
AEM UEGO $250
AAM 3" Dual Exhaust $1495
Forged 3" Downpipes $?????
Koyo Slim Radiator
Greddy Kit with FMIC $5800

Now granted this puts me over my 3K i have chillen but It would be a nice start on some of the more need items. I would have written more last night but I passed out soon after posting this. Im getting to old to work out and have sex in the same night!

I am leaning toward UTEC with everything I need & Fuel System, or ATS Twin Carbon clutch and JWT Flywheel...

I really want to get all the kinks worked outta stock motor FI before I go all out and learn to handle the power setting I will be getting with 450whp and if worst comes to worst I can throw a built motor onto a CC and let it pay off over a long time but I do not want to do that!

Just to let you know, you can save 400 bucks because you don't need a flywheel with the ATS setup. It is a complete clutch/flywheel setup

you should take the HKS headgaskets off the list, since the labor will kill you, and you can wait until you build the engine for that. stock engine stock headgaskets 450rwhp NO PROBLEM.

now, whos your tuner?

Ive talked to him once before about single turbos, but if I am want to get anywhere near 120 trap with a FI Z on low boost I need a TT.

nice! Another fellow 35th anni Z owner taking the plunge!

If I may suggest...might as well get some cams while you have your motor apart, although our heads already flow pretty well.
