I will be at the track tonight and I will see how good she does on street tires and with my current mods. The wether is not helping either 78% humitity possibly highs in the 70's and light rain . I will post up a vid and some more pics.

Later.

Well I was at the track the other night and here is what I did

http://i129.photobucket.com/albums/p.../TRACKTIME.jpg

Also on the way to the track my check engine light came on just for future refference. Also it was a very bad night at the track light rain and very strong winds but I am very happy with my times with only 370 hp and on street tires (huge 20's). I have a vid on the 12.8 run if anyone wants to see it that is, I dont want to post it if no one is interested in seeing it. Also look at the time slips I did a 12.8 at 116mph and then turn around and do a 12.9 at only 108mph? Almost got under a 2 second 60ft. maybe when I get my MT Drags.

Is the check engine related to the fact you got a 2004.5 (WB 02 sensors/test pipes)? Or is it something else?

I had a thought it was the test pipes so I reset the the code and if it comes back on again I will check it and see what it is. I did the nonfouler trick? I guess the test pipes have to be worn in a little. I am not getting any bad smell or any smoke.

Your car is pulling HARD the 2nd 1/8 down the track, your 1/8 trap is like my NA, then you match my ST 1/4 trap! Were you spinning a lot on 1-2 or 2-3 shifts or shifting really easy? You need to make big improvements the first 1/8 to see good 1/4 times.

Yeah I could not get a good launch. I would spin out almost everytime also there was light rain and the wind was bad like 30mph. I have a vid if you want to see? I think my 1-2 shift is the worst but after that I shift dead on. what RPM should I launch at because that is where I was

Id like to see the vid yeah. a 2.0 60ft, isnt as bad as you think on street tires, that should be enough to get you LOW 12's.

756MB!!! Open it and finalize it in Windows Movie Maker, it will compress that vid to acceptable levels, then put it on youtube...also chop the vid in WMM to the burnout and the run, a 2 minute vid is way long for 1 or even 2 runs.

if it is reading in bars.. .89 is = ~ 13.1 lbs of boost.

? Why the hell is my contoller boosting at 13psi? I knew my gauge was not off. HHmm I think I am getting a very lean mix. Does anyone know of a good tuner in the area maybe in Houston.

On the first run you hit the brakes a split second before running through the traps!!!!! No wonder you trapped so low lmao, always stay WOT about 50 feet after the traps as well. Work on the shifts some-especially 1-2 and 2-3 and youwill be much better off. Practice makes perfect.....

Thats right I did brake. no wonder. I have not raced at the track in over 3 years I still have alot of track rust, Ohh well I am happy I finaly got into the 12's also what RPM should I launch at? I'm going with the 750cc injectors I just have to pick a brand and I am set is SARD any good? Still searching for a tuner in the area, some MT and I'll be shooting for low 11's, maybe a high 10! (I can dream can't I ).

Yeah thats decent for what your having done, Id go to SGP if I was in that area. I cant tell you how to launch because every car, track, and day is different. Your 2.0 60ft is decent for street tires, to hit a better 1.9 60ft, yuocould try 27psi in the rear tires, and launching slightly higher witha quick clutch slip out of the whole. Seat time will help you considerably more than anything I could write you now....
