How much rwhp do you want to achieve? Find a great reputable shop and tuner. How much do you have to spend? Lots of questions to be answered. Turbo has more torque(pull) but has more stess on engine. S/c more reliable and supposed to be safer on engine(less torque). You can still blow engine no matter what you do. I have a s/c vortech and it fkn goes. I am told the turbo (single and especially tt) are way faster. My ride is quick enough. Lots and lots of info on this site. Good luck!!

A good place to start is the top 100 questions thread, link is in my signature.

Once you're serious about buying a car that already has a forced induction kit on it, you should do a lot of independent research to figure out what is necessary for it to be a safe setup.

If you're buying a used & heavily modded car, definitely go for one with a car with built motor and upgraded internals. Also, get in contact with whomever did the tuning and motor build for that car.

Finally, there is no best F/I kit (single, twin, or S/C), it depends on your needs, wants, etc.

Basically, you have a lot of searching to do...

Be careful buying a used FI car. Most people get rid of them becasue they are fed up that they can't make it work. Ask plenty of questions about who did the work and make sure you get Dyno confirmation of claims.

A plenum is the intake manifiold. It consists of an upper and lower plenum.

One should be careful period when buying a used car regardless if it is boosted or not.

Being skeptical and suspicous are good things to do when looking for used cars.

I have seen numerous people sell boosted cars that ran fine, so saying that "Most people get rid of them because the are fed up that they can't make it work" just isn't a fair or realistic statement.

Kinda goes along with all of those who are quick to say "Never buy a modified car", when there are numerous modified cars that are fine to buy. Perception and negative condentation are placed with such broad statements.

Isn't it weird that there are those with super hot girls that would still able to be looking elsewhere...

Mario Lopez always comes to mind, then Jude Law, etc

Been with my wife for 8 years (married only 4) and she is still spankin hot to me and don't see myself ever replacing her. But I told her when I die I'm getting buried next to my Z so she's gunna have to look for another plot.

If I could only be as lucky

Hey you know, you could pitch to her about both being buried in the Z together

I remember seeing some guy's last wishes were to be buried in his classic Vette LOL.

There are a couple of FI 350Z's for sale in the classified section. One of them is a STEAL, IMHO. See if you can find a car that already has some mods done, and you can go from there.
