Fuel Pressure Regulator Q's
I have a pretty hack-job Powerdyne kit on my FX35. Hack-job being that I don't agree with the fuel management.
This is the fuel management:

There's an aux pump put in parallel with the stock fuel line, and it acts to raise line pressure at preset boost levels via the FMU.
The problem is the charger belt is still spinning at low RPM or low throttle and the completely stock fuel system is then utilized.
Now my AFR gage blew and a new one is in the mail, and I have yet to get tuned so I'm taking it real easy and I'm also running a very "safe" setup on the FMU until dyno time.
Questions:
1. When I'm stopped at a light, and JUST after letting off the brake, it's "chugging" is the best I can describe it. Without an AFR gage, I don't know if it's a lean condition or super-rich. This happens ONLY when coming from a stop and not touching the throttle, and as soon as I gas it a bit everything feels smooth. Any input?
2. I figure once I get my AFR gage back in, I can tell if it's a lean condition causing this or not, and was thinking of getting around my stock fuel setup when the FMU doesn't detect boost by getting a new FPR and adjusting the pressure to allow more fuel to flow through the injectors. On an NA setup, would raising this fuel pressure at the regulator richen up the mix?
3. What are recommendations on a new FPR?
Something like this?

I'd like a gage on it so I can see how steady the output is... would this be too POS and unreliable (inconsistent)?

And this one not nearly as cheap, but still too cheap? Ever hear of OBX???

Edit: Would TS reflash setting my idle RPM up a bit possibly correct this?

Nothing at all? I don't want to run an all-out AAM return fuel line because I'll obviously never need it w/ SC... so atleast any personal opinions or stories about fuel pressure regulators? Recommendations?
