Vortech gurus, need urgent help!!
So I guess I was wrong and I should have listened to the people on the board...having said that I'm having the following issue...
My greddy type rs is fluttering during vacuum and when it goes off. When in low boost it's not too obvious, but over 5 psi and it sounds like someone flapping his cheeks. During cruising, my vacuum seems to be lower than it used to be. Also, when the valve goes off, I see vacuum of -22, with the vortech it used to go to -24. Is this significant?
I read some posts of people taking out an inner spring, and others have adjusted it so it works. I know I can get to the valve by taking off the underpanel, but do I need to jack up the passenger side or can I get to it without jacking up the car? I think i might be able to squeeze under there without jacking up the car, but I'm not sure. Please, any suggestions are welcome on how to adjust the valve to get it to stop fluttering.
Lastly, and most importantly, will adjusting the valve affect my boost and in turn my AFR?
