Default Emissions?

Do any of you have issues when it comes time to get emissions inspected with FI? Here in MD you have to do it every couple years.....

VA requires it every 2 years also... Trust me I know, and you can't trick it.
It is computerized.. I can get the inspection done, but can't pass emissions..

I stand corrected. Only cars in Northern VA must do the stupid emissions check. So far I have confirmed the following from this site: http://www.deq.state.va.us/mobile/

"An inspection must be performed every two years at a permitted emissions inspection station. Most inspections should take about 20 minutes or less, and the inspector issues a vehicle inspection report after the appropriate tests are performed.

These localities are participating in the program: the counties of Arlington, Fairfax, Loudoun, Prince William and Stafford; and the cities of Alexandria, Fairfax, Falls Church, Manassas and Manassas Park. "

Time to move my car registration to Richmond

you just need to set up a mailing address in the state (private mail box) and then receive bank statements or bills of some sort to present as proof of residency. You can get the approved list from the DMV website of what they will accept as proof.
