Having a looking at the parts list for the HKS single turbo kit and there is no oil pump included like the APS kits. So my question is why does the APS have this and not the HKS? Is it really required?

 

APS is too low for gravity to drain oil so a pump IS A MUST.

 

yes, it is a must, just read about those that have ran the kit with the pump malfunctioning!

 

Just look at Bretts sig and and that tells you the engineering marvel the aps st is. Buy the kit and have it sent to tig for the bama special then install it.

So what you are saying is that the HKS sits higher then the APS which I find hard to believe as there is not much room in the bay.

Don't get me wrong the APS is a great kit but they do not sell the ST outside the US and not sure if the ST will fit the JDM cars hence why i'm investigating the HKS kit

 

i know of one aps kit you can get outside of the US. dont know if it fits the JDM caras tho.
