THE recic feature is probbaly also there for us Aussies. Its illegal to vent to atmo here. THe 1/2 1/2 allows us to get past the coppers.

Curious what your BOV's sound like. Does it sound like this:

because mine does not, mine is fluttering, sounds compressor surge.

With all the issues you have with your car you think it has compressor surge from the BOV? guess what, your car is not an evo and thus does not sound the same. Your BOV is working properly and is fine.... put your effort into getting the rest of your setup fixed

Yes I realize my car is not an evo... the APS BOV on the other hand is the same that they include in the 350z kit. Are you running APS? Does yours sound like a flutter too?

Mounting position, throttle, amount of boost, recirc vs open vent, and on and on affect the sound of the BOV. I have the APS BOV as does my buddy with a turbod protege, as does another buddy with an STI -> they all sound different on each application.

You are reading WAY too much into things if you are searching out BOV and compressor surge. You have bigger things to worry about with your setup

I was just worried another thing had gone wrong As far as my setup is concerned, you over exaggerate! I just need a tune! But yes, I will take it to get checked out.

you coming off a couple weeks of FI experience telling me I am exagerating? You, that is running a modified tune produced with the use of your non experienced buddy's laptop? You, that has posted numerous times about issues you are finding with a less than perfect self install?
Trust me... you are living on borrowed time as far as your setup is concerned. You will be both luck and fortunate if you make to the point of getting a proper check-up and tune

"I just need a tune" LMFAO that would be fine if the car were sitting, but saying that while you are still driving it is beyond naive.

Even with a good tune on a properly installed and prepped setup there are no garauntees..... and here you are with a questionable install, on a more than questionable tune, on a stock block telling me I exagerate.....

Good luck to you my friend
