Default Has anyone tried venting APS BOV ?

So I removed the hose to the intake pipe to make the BOV full vent to atmosphere. The car idles better to me and sounds a lot better. I didn't notice any lag between shifts nor did my car stall when coming to a stop IMO it idles much better than before. Just sharing incase someone wants to give it a try.

Heres a pic:

When I had my kit, that's what I did, and never looked back. Sounds better!

I tried it but it was too loud for Cali. If it wasnt for this gay **** state I would have left it. It sounds tight.

Does the actual blow off sound the same in this configuration? Or is it much more amplified fluttering?

They were shooting for CARB exemption....which never happened. Atmospheric dumps are not CARB legal. But yes, the APS TT sounds immensly better with the open BOV venting. And since the BOV is located prior to the MAF sensor, you shouldnt have issues with stalling.

Nope, never but I've heard of ppl SAYING it might stall if I did this, just wanted to confirm I haven't stalled and idle is solid.

Could this mess with any A/F ratios, or anything to do with the actual operation. My car is running fine and I don't want to change anything but if it sounds better than hell ya. I just don't want to change any of the functional side.
