Default standalone twin in-tank pump assembly

I've been kind of bored during the middle of the day with all the time off lately, so I figured I would post up some pics of something we have been working on. Its actually something that we started on about a year ago, we just haven't focused on it much due to a lack of a need for it. Now that everyone is getting their headgaskets to seal and frying fuel pumps trying other methods, the contact regarding this that we have experienced lately is increasing rapidly.

While we have the prototype in these pics as fully functional, we have some things left to do. For one, we have to build a surge can that accepts the fuel level sensor. Also, today or at least very soon we have to setup the test bench and do some siphon tuning on all 3 siphons that it uses. Lastly, we have to tune the surge can capacity based on the strength of the primary siphons that fill it. The details are hard to explain without a diagram that explains how it all works (I will post that up once its in production). We are also changing the shape of a couple of the machined parts to further enhance their functionality.

So the final version will look quite a bit different still in about 2 weeks, and we will be anodizing it all. Following its availability will be installation kits to adapt it to various existing setups.

 It's been coming along.

you could probably buy one new for the same price as shipping man, ok, just measured it, it will probably fit in a old injen exhaust box, let me see what i can do...

its damn near impossible to get all the fuel out of it though

Looks very good man. Would be a decent idea hooked up with a surge tank. Running AAM's right now, but always looking for improvements...

Good work. Can't wait to see this baby in person.

AS far as sedan fitment, I guess I'll be able to test fit it as soon as it's available and go from there. One thing I can see is that the sedan tank is significantly different from the coupe/Z tanks. It has a VERY large surge tank mounted to the body of the tank itself, and the rest of the assembly simply dips into it. This may be advantageous in some ways. But to fit this assembly in there might require removal or at least modification of that OE surge tank... will be able to tell when I try to test fit it.

CJ

Will it be possible to have a single Walbro 255 l/h pump side by side with a single OEM pump. I am confident that this will allow for enough flow for all but the most extreme setups (i.e. up to 800 hp).

Thanks
