Buy an Autosport harness if you don't have one and do the ECU wiring on a bench...

Yes, it is safe out of the box. But, if you have any other mods done to your car a tune would be reccomended. And you can extract more power out of your setup with a good tune.

get a boost gauge and a wideband. Also get an autosport harness, it will honestly save you hours.

oh wow. that is sweet? i bet that would save some time? can anyone post a picture of the "autosport harness" everyone else is talking about? I think i would definately buy that thing versus cutting wires and wasting time down in the corner of the car?!

I would never recommend installing something like this yourself unless you have some prior experience with this level of mods.

Get a harness, make sure you have everything you need before you start! It is very helpful to have another vehicle in case you need to run to AZ or something. Try and remain as sober as possible. Have some kitty litter handy, with rags too. A light that can be both hung and placed on the ground, one of those backpacking headlamps would be nice. Thats my 2 cents. Good luck!

One more thing, if it is supposed to come loose and it doesnt, dont try until it breaks! Talking from personal experience I didnt loosen the tensioner pulley before trying to de-tension the belt and broke the phuker, luckily a dealer in NC had 1 of 2 in the country. If you run up on something you cant figure out, come on here and ask or call a shop. Take your time and make sure it is done to a "T"

Just take your time and be very careful if you still decide to do it yourself.
