Talking Finally going FI, have sum ?'s

i just wanted to know ....... i had No2 kit on the car before and i am going turbo now should i start off boosting low and work my way .... just to be on the safe side... or it doesnt matter just go st8 to 8psi....

sorry if its a repost thanks i went threw all 6 pages and i didnt find aynthing

Hmm I would be a little on the safe side since you did run nitrous before. Do a compression and leak down before you install the kit and make sure everything looks within range. If it does you should be fine at 8 PSI...

thanks for the help man...and wat should i set the uni chip at or does the shop do that on there own ..... cuz i am gonna install the kit myself and drive it so they can tune it.. but i am not sure if there is a setting i should set it at.

You're installing a Unichip with a TN kit?

yea i am going uni chip and tn kit... i bought it like that off off ipcheck and i saw his car run and it was awsome

His car was a very high trapping set-up, it did run strong. 3.3FD was also a help in his situation.

yea alberto your rite ... but still i like his set up alot ...for daylly driveing lolo.... i will post pics of the whole install on monday hopefully...thanks for the help guys

and ill goo ahead and make sure i stay out of boost untill i get there....i have never been turbo on any of my cars so wen does the car start boosting

stock internals......single turbo....8psi is prob the max u wana run.....unless u go 2 the track....and do maybe 2 runs at 10psi

depends on the tune......my car makes boost at 2400rpm.....and is super strong untill 5600rpm.....then tones down untill redline

well rite now i am not tuned so i have to drive to the shop like that (not tuned) so i should drive like a granny rite
