I need to call Rick Squires at STS and see what this deal is..As far as I know the kits are not even out yet, and we are getting the first production one to develop base maps..This dude MUST be a scammer..

But 400whp at less the 6psi, on a single, I'll have to see it to belive it...

 

why would you need that big of a fmic if the ic piping alone is around 50% efficent...i wouldnt think you would need that big of an ic...i would think its a scam but you never know

 

I BELIEVE that is the fmic that they used on my car. Its not so much that its big....its just really THICK!!!

 

I can't believe that they would even consider that big of a intercooler. That is ridiculous and could actually hurt your performance over a properly sized intercooler that incorporates the right flow characteristics with minimal pressure drop and good heat dissapation. It looks like they just found a huge intercooler that would fill up the front bumper and plumbed it in IMO.

The guy posting the ebay link is the same guy on the link I posted... Perhaps he's a vnedor trying to get a jump and selling the kit before it's introduced but if you where to ask me.... I see a college kid reselling kits on the side trying to make a quick buck. Based soley on the fact that you give yourself a name of RPM-Express but continue to use a .edu addy for your "business". May be some what legit but I would'nt trust the service regardless.

Eother way, if we get near 400rwhp and only stress the engine with 6psi that would be an nice sell point.

the ebay thing is a scam for sure, the guy has 3 feedback, and not only that.... but if your a good ebay seller, you would post more than 2 pics. especially when the two pics the guy posted were absolutely stupid, not showing any evidence of a rear mount kit.

 

Talked to Rick Squires from STS.He has no idea what that guy is about, he is doing some research.But he is not an authorized dealer.

 

The thing I cant seem to understand is how is everyone (apart from MRC) getting pictures of the car and the kit?!?!?!? And where did this "scammer" get his figures? Because they sound just about right "I THINK".

I just got back from STS in Orem Utah and I got a ride in the Z. Man this thing REALLY moves now...going sideways in third gear is pretty sweet. They installed a bigger turbo and Rick didnt like the noticeable turbo lag (full boost at 3200 lol) It was at 6 psi....he will be doing the final tune this week at 8-9psi on my car and I will be getting it this Friday! I will be going to the track this weekend on Sunday and hopefully lay down some good times...my only concern is that my street tires are not hooking up at all. I use 295's in the rear
