I dunno about everyone else but the Z is an enigma to the rednecks(being a redneck myself I can say that) down here in rural Texas. Taking my car to get worked on even at the Nissan dealership is like something out of King of the Hill. I ask about Nismo parts and I get a blank look like "it ain't no mustang/GTO/Transam/corvett so what the hell would you want ta make it go faster for?" I fully expect the same reaction when I go into the nearest STS dealer and ask about the kit.
My question is this: will we be left waiting for the MRC, GRD, SGP, Jotechs of the world to pick up an STS dealership or will we need to start planning on installing these kits on our own and having the tuner shops tune the UTEC alone? I am hardly afraid of installing a turbo kit on my own but warranty work would be a batch as would any trouble shooting.

i like your honesty with the redneck thing lol
if you are afraid ahd have som concerns, then go with an already proven kit.
Wow, lots of buzz going on over here over the STS 350Z system. Any time you try to get infomation early - you always get leaked bits and pieces which is always frustrating so sorry about that. We are excited about this new system and bringing a another great turbo system onto the market. Marketing is working on putting together all the info on the new Z kit and will have that up on our website soon along with pics, video, dyno graphs, pricing, etc. We'll get back out here and let you know as soon as we have final numbers, pricing and specs. For now, the installation is clean and easy; power is responsive, smooth and predictable; hp per psi boost is very good and the sound is absolutely incredible.
Thanks, Rick @ STS

I wondered how long it would be until they showed their face on here with all the bashing going on.
I'm skeptical, as everyone is, of the remote mount turbo. But to address some of hte concerns mentioned earlier, they have been nothing but responsive with any questions i have had for them, even going out of their way to call me up anytime there is an update on their website. The dyno will speak for itself, and at that point, all our questions will be answered. What else really needs to be said.

oh and i just wanted to let you know this kit sounds pissed off! i have never heard a turbo wind like that before sounds like a damn jet plane.. its only under throttle tho. at idle it sounds stock. honestly the power per psi is pretty awesome. for people looking for a great kit tat is easy to maintian and install this is def a nice option.
no joke

dude miaplaya aka turbonetics worker! quit hating on the new kit. if the turbonetics kit is the superior single turbo then you have nothing to worry about. right?
i took a look at the whole set up and its pretty nice.. if you dont plan on going ralley racing then i highly doubt you will mess anything up....
as for the power its there! i know first hand.
i myself own the APS tt and i am an outsider as far as the kit. ive seen all of the turbo setups out there and honestly its a pretty nice kit and has great power potential...
all im trying to do is differ all the hating and crap going on.. lets just wait for sts to put out all the info .. im pretty sure alot of you will be happy with the product.
