Oh I know!!! YOu can easily drift a stock Z......i was speaking on the video and not Z's as a whole.....
After talking to Julian yesterday, I am seriously considering being the guinea pig and letting MRC install the STS on my vehicle. I'm sure Julian will take care of all the independent testing that the last 28 pages of this thread has been devoid of. Though I would like to give Julian a firm answer very soon, I've not yet made a final decision. I was hoping you guys could help me with that.
I would like to avoid jumping to any premature conclusions, as was done earlier in this thread. Right now, I would appreciate more facts and expert analysis.
I found Squire's patent, as filed at the United States Patent Office. It provides a through technical description of how his remote turbos are built. The description is long and technically escapes me. I'm an enthusiast, not a physicist. If anyone can wrench out new facts, the effort would be greatly appreciated.

Lastly, like most skeptics here, I am greatly concerned about the following issues:
1) susceptibility of the Turbo to physical damage
2) susceptibility of the intake to hydrolocking
3) uneven peaky powerband in boost
4) reduced powerband from OEM below boost
I have searched google to see if these issues have been reported on STS's main customer base of Corvettes, Cameros, Mustangs, and the like. However, I have only found good reviews of their products, and no specific reports of any of the above problems. Again, I am not looking for flames from people who have not owned or tested their products. If anyone can find out if any of their existing customers have posted complaints, that would be VERY valuable.
Thanks guys!

Lewis, I wish you all the best and hope all goes well with your decision. You are a braver man than I and really hope this kit works out for the for what they are claiming. If anyone can be unbiased about it I think MRC should be able to handle that task.

If this is what you want and you want to be one of the first, I think that clearing the air would be a great way to bring a new product to the market.
After only two days in the decision process, I've received good input directly from STS, MRC, and the owner of the test vehicle. I have decided that this project is a go.
I'm sure Julian will gladly chime in when my coupe is under the knife.
Thanks for the support.

We have just ordered a pre- release one and will be installing it on Lewis's G35 this week.Hopefully will have it done in time for our Dyno Day on the 29th!! Keep in mind his car is an Auto tranny also, so the numbers may be different on a 6mt. We will undoubtedly give out 100% unbiased opinion of the kit as we have ZERO vested interest in the project, as we have not purchased a ton of kits or gone through a long application process..
