What if i actually went to MRC and paid with food for a turbo install

 

mostly all of the tsz33 members are going over there including i. il make sure they bring all those goodies plus some lol. cant wait to see this sts kit in action live on a dyno. sein it might change my mind on modifying a TN kit to fit my 06 wich would probably cost me same as the sts kit itself.

 

So when are we going to see some real numbers? About a week or two.

 

Hopefully, it won't take more than a week or so to get this in. I don't know exactly how long it will take for STS to get the kit over to MRC. I will check with Julian later today.

 

Dependso n when we get it..We intend to pull an all nighter to get it on the car, hopefully they get it to us in time..

 

Are they making a G35 kit with longer piping alongside the 350Z kit or are you guys going to have to modify it to fit the G?

 

I would think the same kit would fit both since the midpipe is longer not the muffler assembly. If the midpipe is indeed longer, the kits should fit both the Z and G35C. I dont know about the G35S.

 

I was referring to the charge piping from the turbocharger to the intercooler up front.

 

we will have to add about 3" of pipe.

I'm making arrangements on my side to try to save you from a last-minute all-nighter. My custom headlights (IvoryGT on G35Driver) and LED mirrors (Scootch on G35Driver) should be back soon, so the car should be drivable when that happens. Mike at Intense Motorsports sent out the gauge pod today, and Jeremy at Performance Factory placed the order for all the AutoMeter Nexus equipment. All of that should be arriving by Thursday.

Please let me know when STS gives you an ET on the turbo. As soon as that happens, we can hammer out a work schedule. Hopefully, we can get the car to you a bit earlier than expected.

Did you hear how long it took for the turbo to spool after he revved it in the beginning. It was a couple seconds at least!

 

He started at like 2k rpm if that...

 

he was also very low throttle...

I'm as concerned as anyone as lag time...but want to see on the dyno, open throttle, what it does...that's gonna be the only way to know...
