That's great news, Tim and Sharif! Maybe I won't have to wait as long as I thought for a turbo kit after all.

Of course, this is all assuming that ANYthing bolts up to that engine the same, such as the manifolds.

I agree I think it will be APS butt not for a while

Hmm....that sounds like an excellent plan. Have them transport the car straight here....dont even drive it on the street. We'll put the first 50 miles on the Dyno Dynamics.

Sound like a plan.

Need one of these to Nismo Plenum versions so we can removed the fugly stock plastic plenum hiding under the cover.

something about that HR - it just looks so much nicer then our DE's. I like how the water return pipe goes under the intake manifold now rather then on the side of the engine. more space to work now.

I'd give it at least another year to 18 months before we see something solid for these engines. And that's being generous... When the VQ hit the market in '03, it took years to refine the approach to what we have now (mainly speaking about head lift issues).

I'm sure that the current pool of tuners are ready for this, but with so many changes in the engine, it'll be a while before there's a solid "cook book" approach.

As always, just my

Im sure they didnt change the chassis much. Its probably a direct drop in. The ECU is the problem i'd guess. You'd need it matched up.

the wiring is probably what would kill the theory of an easy swap into the older cars, but like anything, it could be done.
