Please don't start fighting, I just wondering if $ were not an issue and you wanted the best ECU for 550+ and room for upgrading,

OK feel free to mention anyother ECu

If I were going down that road again, I'd probably want to try out the AEM. UNLESS that is, there's an FCON tuner within an hour or two drive. On the AEM, you can make small changes if needed; FCON you're locked out.

if you had the best tuner that could do both and you could afford both what would you be more happy with.

Whatever the tuner recommended. If money were no object, and the guy tuning your car had a preference and you trusted him, go with that the tuner suggests.

I think too many of us worry about things that really should be the tuners concern. I was guilty of it too. "What turbo kit?"..."What rods?"..."Do I need to sleeve for xxxwhp?"..."Do I really need a fuel system for xxxwhp?". I say, let your tuner do his job and trust his judgement.

Its so unfair to limit to those two EMS's when you say "Money is no object"

Thats like putting a big red button in front of a kid and telling him not to push it, LOL!

EDIT cause im tired as hell and can't spell/type correctly!

Well here is food for thought, some of the worlds fastest Street Supras and EVO's are running all AEM systems.

I agree. If money is no object I would also be looking at the Haltech e11v2 as well.

Out of the 2 listed, definitely AEM. I don't need anything more advanced than that as my car isn't a race car.

The Motec I think is only about 1k to 1500 more than the FCon, and I think has a few more features than the FCon. Im not 100% on this, as im still doing my research. However its like taurran said, the features some of these EMS's come with is beyond what the car really needs unless you were building a race car, or money was no object

Yes, Sound Performance. It's in the 600WHP range.

The AEM drift car is also running it on their VQ.

Did Sound Performance ever release it to the puplic ? They announced it a while back , but never heard any thing after that .

i would have to say AEM, just for the ability to tune myself..and not need a retinal scanner and urine sample to prove I am a agent for HKS.
