@ $20 a gallon? You'd have to be stupid. Wate and alcohol is much cheaper.

The issue is oxidizer delivery. Not fuel delivery. Fuel is easy to deliver through injectors. Nitrous is an oxidizer. Nitromethane is not.

I used it and it is amazing!!! I used some stuff called nitro booster. It is for hobby RC cars but the stuff works... snowperformance sells something similiar in a smaller amount but very pricey. but gains of up to 50whp is very tempting!! and I can say for sure i definitely felt a difference when i used the nitrobooster vs regular w/m

 

yeah the snow performance bottle was exactly what I was thinking of actually. I wasn't even thinking of putting the whole thing in. Just thinking maybe like 6 parts water, 5 parts methanol, 2 parts nitro or something along those lines.

Where instead of dumping it all in there for 30-50hp for $30 that'll last you 1 gallon worth of WI, I figure just part of it for like 5-8 hp instead and it'll last 6 fill ups seemed somewhat reasonable. $30 can probably last like 3 months or something that way. If I can spend $10 on lunch, I can spend $10 a month for an extra 5-8 hp

i have run nitromethane on my astra coupe turbo and the gains are OK

should only be used when cahsing 1 or 2 tenths that may see you move into the 11's or ten's

the problem is if mixed in quantaties more than 15%

ie 15% nitro,50%meth and 35% water the nitro methane could go into suspension and if pure nitro ends up being injected willlead to lean conditions and possibly detonation and engine failure.

He means a chemical suspension. The density and bonding properties of the liquids are different, so if there is a large enough quantity, they can separate from the mixed solution and turn into stacked layers of each, like a cake. Think of gasoline floating on water. If that was the case, you could be drawing pure water, methanol or nitromethane depending on your fluid levels.

 

I think he means if the percentage of nitromethane exceeds 15% the liquid itself will be suspended from the rest of the mixture.

yeah it'd be bad to have the nitromethane bunch up and settle or float in the tank, then when the rest of the liquid has run out, pure nitro would be disasterous depending on how heavy the WI sprayer is set

But if you runnonly meth and Nitro it would not be a problem as they do not have a problem mixing.

Nitro contains twice the number of oxygen molecules than air and the methonol will richen up the mixture so more fuel more air= more power.
