I dont know what a STi stock setup is but I believe the supra's run 16psi stock. Any mods and cash they can run in the high 20's. Thats why that BOV is rocking. It's the same principle of blowing a whistle the harder you blow (more pressure) the louder it is.

i'm picking up a type-s and an SSQV by friday.....i'll pick one and the shop will take back the other two....maybe i'll get some sound clips for comparison purposes

I hate you all who live close to a shop that stocks parts like this. Hells theres not even a Turboxs retailer in the 5 state region where I live. Much less a hks retailer. Good luck I think you will like the ssqv. BTW I found a online store that sells them for 159. shipped.

As promised. here is a clip i made last night with the HKS BOV. i had to hold the camera and drive so i couldnt buil;d any major boost... BUT see how loud it is and the sound is amazing... throughtout the video, the highest point of boost i hit was 1 psi. ill mke a new one tomorrow at higher boost levels... here is the link:
