Snap rings were easy with the right tools. Buy you some snap ring pliers, saves alot of time.

I hope you guys took apart the bov before doing the snap ring.. It seemed impossible to put on without taking the cover of the bov off!

The raptor is a beast at WOT. I get compliments all the time. Just wish I had a vented hood.

The HKS sounds hot. I love to hear it on my buddies supras. But then again they are running 20+ psi. Im struggling at 8.5, LOL

So after driving the car 110 miles this weekend, I think I'm going to take the BOV off. Maybe keep it for shows and such.. but for long distance and day driving.. this thing is Fing ANNOYING. It's loud.. and last night.. I was sitting in my apartment.. and the stupid chirping noise kept going in my head.. I'll throw the Raptor on next weekend (since I only drive it on weekends). Throw the HKS back on for a car meet/show or something...

I'm a quiet kind of person.. my car is quieter than stock with the turbo kit lol..

Ooh and forgot to mention, with the HKS.. if you rev it up, it goes off.. unlike the Raptor that makes a really faint chirp.. this thing is definately louder.

you can modify the raptor to make a higher-pitched noise at the end of the discharge. basically by drilling holes on the discharge tube (or the horn if you want) i was able to change the overall sound of the raptor.

i like the original raptor discharge sound. this was purely for personal experimentation and i just happen to like it. i am going to experiment more with different size holes and location.

i will see if i can snap a pic or two.

Yea I know that.. I took the horn off of mine to experiment and it resulted in a high pitched release too

Anyone know what BOV's are interchangable with the Blitz DD flange?

I was suprised at how good the raptor sounded after he did the slight modification on it.
