Default looses boost on stock springs

Hi guys i was wondering how many of you looses boost or say doesnt achieve the required boost (sometimes) not all the time...
Ok here is whats happening...
say i have my boost controller set on 13 psi.
and it works fine i hit 13 psi and then 1 day i decide to make a run and i hit 10 psi so i think there is a leak or so. I raise the boost a lil bit and i reach what i should reach.. the second pull my boos over shoots as if the spring was loose and then by raising the boost it got stiffer and then i go back to the boost #s that i had in the begining and the car boosts again normal...
OR i pull i get 10 psi and then i think WTF so i pull again and i get 12 psi or so.
Finaly just wanted to know how many of you have face problems like that and in the same time how many of you whent with after market WG springs.
By the way i have an HKS evc...
Thanks and regards..

Don't you have external wastegates? Sounds more like a boost controller issue.

Curious what springs do you run in your wastegates? I run Tial 1 bar springs, which = 13psi in low boost on springs only. Makes life easier on the boost controller for the higher boost setting.

edit-by stock do you mean your running the 5.6psi springs!? General rule of thumb Ive read online is that you dont want your boost controller to more than double the springs boost. So 5psi springs you could do 10psi with a BC. Running 3X the boost on those springs might be the issue.

I am running the stock springs (5.6psi) and boosting 16psi without a problem. Running a higher boost spring will alow faster spool though.
