to use the 4960s, you eiter need to shorten the stock greddy 2.75" pipes, or length (using bends) like I did. Take a closer look at the Puerto Rican car, it looks like he shortened the pipes to make the bigger filters fit.

Nop... I do not cut the pipes if that is what you mean... I don't put it at the end of the pipe, they are a little deeper on the pipe (maybe 2" deeper") to fit in... You have to take out the pipes first, put the filter on it a little lose and then with a little patience put all back together... hope this help!

cutting the pipes shorter would probably serve the same purpose as pushing the filter on deeper, right?

Is it me, or is 350z clearance less than g35 clearance? I had to remove my PS reservoir to stuff the filter down there... then put it back in once i had the filter in... and maybe sedan's have even more clearance?

I had to do the same along with pushing the PS cooler lines around to make it fit.

Everything is wedged in there, but it is in there!

I can't fit the driver's side one because of my larger radiator. I just got in some extra pipe and am going to try to move them out on top of the intercooler.

Bumping an old thread.

What do people think about Injen or Aem airfilters? Is K&N just used becuase its the most popular or is it actually the best?

Seems like for the Greddy TT the size should be a 3" inlet and about a length of 5 to 5.5". Anyone confirm this?

I have just installed the Aem dry flows and the inlet is 2.75" but i forgot the measurments. They are a really tight fit though.
