Default SFR turbo system 640WHP @ 14psi

I just wanted to let everyone know that we are finally getting some more high horsepower dyno charts from some of our customers who have purchased these kits over the last year.KevinApex007 just bought a kit a few weeks back and has already been hitting the dyno. His results are impressive to say the least especially when you look at his buildup which is pretty modest compared to some of the stoker set-ups that are being tested and tuned. So here is his list of goodies:Non-sleeved block, stock heads and headgaskets, Utec w/ map sw. Pauter rods, Arias 9.5:1, ARP, JWT cams, ACTProlite flywheel, clutch, AAM return fuel stageI-II, re-flash, RC 750 injs. Crawford plenum, SVRT solid mounts, Stillen sways GTspec braces, Teins flex w/EDFC APracing 6pot fr. 4pot r, Volk LE28,APS 3" exhaust, Speed Force Racing twin-turbo system with 60-1hi-fi's. The car is running on pure 91 octane. There was another run after the 640WHP and he was headed for 650-660 but had to cut it short because of some fuel starvation issues. We are working with him to resolve these issues so he could get to his target boost of 17-18 psi

The results on the Dynojet with SAE correction:
12.2 psi of boost 591WHP and 505 ft/lbs
http://www.speedforceracing.com/imag.../350ztt591.jpg
14 psi of boost 640WHP and 531 ft/lbs

And there will be more charts coming soon!

OMG that power and torque curve both looks insane.

Tim, mad props for a very well engineered TT kit.

Well, these days if you're pushing anything short of 600whp you're weaksauce... It's making it tough for anyone to consider posting up numbers shy of that. LOL.

Great work guys. Yet another notch in the boosted VQ belt.

nice numbers! that kit sounds awesome from the videos i've seen

only thing I don't like about it is the smaller low end numbers and how long it takes to spool those big turbos up

that'd be a beast of a setup with the 4.24 stroker kit

yup, 9.5:1 comp, .020 overbore, oem headgasket, jwt cams, regular arp main/head studs, 91 octane... that kit flows some serious air! Kevin's torque is simply scary lol. When I was filming the 640 run it was just nuts how fast it blew thru 4th gear o_O

Yes, with the typical bolt-ons and an extremely modest motor build. No stroker,no big valve heads and no race fuel. Big turbos get the job done at lower boost levels

You are correct but you still have to admire how flat the torque curve is considering alot of turbos have torque curves that drop drastically past 5000 rpm.

well that's because they're bigger turbos and don't start run out of their efficiency range as much. It's mainly flat at 5000-7000 rpms though. Before that it's way low

this kit is very different from the normal turbo kits from the Z which spool up really early and mainly emphasize the midrange power. This one spools up later and gives more power later

2 60-1s are pretty large for a 3.5 liter that only revs to 6700 rpms. Making peaky torque at 5k leaves you with only 1800 rpms to play with. This kit would be great on a stroked motor that can rev to 7500 safely though.

It is a little laggy but once you get going in first, its all over with especially with some good shifting...... you always end up right there in the meat of your powerband. I am running on the stock motor and the higher compression helps with spooling the turbos so nobody ever notices the lag because.....before they realize what is going on, they are pinned in their seats as I am burning up the Pilot Sports through fourth gear I would love to see what this kit would do on the GTM stroker with some 62-1 hi-fi's instead of the 60-1 hi-fi's. A set-up like this should generate 1200WHP at 22-24psi
