Id like to see the outcome also.. I have heard really really bad stories about AAM, and a few good ones. Mostly bad though...... So it makes me weary of AAM...

I'll be having a Vpro installed and tuned. In addition, i'd like to buy their 3" exhaust and downpipes to replace my Labree downpipes and Borla catback. Hopefully Mike will do a before and after dyno of both exhausts to see how much power is gained with just a larger exhaust.

Why?? OK, my experience with AAM, is the following, first time buyed from AAM almost $4000 in parts, they said forgot to send me a pulley, after I claim them they send me the part less. Second time and that is my last time to buyed to AAM, I talked to Mike and explain him very well that only if agree to tune my car I will buyed the parts from his shop and he saids not problem, I will go. Buyed from AAM almost $6000 and I order L-19 head studs and they sent me a normal ARP head studs and after I check with another shop about the head studs I confirm that they sent me is a ordinary ARP head studs and I made the claim and make paid the shipment of the Head studs back to them (Of course they will not send me my head studs before reciving theirs).

After received all the parts, waiting reply from Mike to tune the car, where is Mike?? Nobody knows, everytime call to AAM, they saids is not there, is out, or he is busy and cant take the call. WTF!!! and after one month try to contact him, he write to me "I dont have passport, after I get a passport I will advice you and go to tune your car" hahahaha, this is more stupid thing I had hear, and after one week I saw in this forum that post he was in Canada making tuning on some cars. Also car not start, because the flash of the ecu made by AAM and I didnt know why, and try to contact them, and where is MIke?? Nobody Knows and not reply by anywhere. I think they dont need to lie, why they used this F*ck ing way to cheat customer?? After this matter Im very dissapointed about AAM that suposly is one of the best tuners shop for 350Z and them Im contact another good tuner to make my tuning.

All I said here is the true and if anyone in AAM want me to prove it, I have all my emails in my record.
I'm sorry you had a bad experience but, could you at least write in complete sentences. It seems like Mike tried to contact you and rectify things. Every shop has probably sent the wrong part out at one time or another. You can't really make a judgement based on that alone. Sorry to hear about your woes.

I'm hoping that once my car is tuned we'll end up making big numbers and clear up some of these sour stories. It seems like you always the bad things about a shop.

I've always had good experiences with AAM and dealing with Mike. (I have AAM's reflash, plenum spacer, intake, TP's, Y-pipe, and single 3")

**IMO, copmanies will always make mistakes, but how they resolve the issue is what makes them good or bad...

Sam here.
I had almost 90% of the mechanical things installed by AAM and everything is still working flawlessly and they finished the turbo install in about 5 days so my experience has been good with them.

I think all in all AAM is one of the better shops to deal with. Frank is second to none and Mike is a good tuner. AAM has really broken alot of ground in the Z world. They were breaking down the ecu codes while others hussled exhaust out of there basement.

I have had my share of issues that is for sure. From popping my stock block because of APS ego to the accident and AAM has came through.

Even if Mike said he installed flying reindeer in your Z and it gave you an extra 200 toypower, I would be more inclined to believe him since his thoughts are coherent.

To the OP, glad you had a good experience and thank you sharing.
