LOL......you guys never let me down........out with your guns, again.....yours is better that mine.......if that is what anyone got from my post.......you've missed my point.

The question again is ".......the best turbo for a stock motor."

The operating word is Stock Motor. I think even the nay Sayers and inexperienced would agree that once you change the fuel delivery system, including replacing with 500cc injectors, you've changed the parameters of the stock motor. Even adding additional runs of rubber tubing, changes the emission standards, as you have more area for evaporation, which will affect one of the barrages of emission test.

It is not a simple matter of which is better, as bottom line it would be up to engine builder or installer to take the respective systems to the ultimate extreme in results; as there are a number of high quality TT available in the present market, not just JWT or APS.

I am not, in any way, making a comparison to my rebuilt Z, for reasons Julian from MRC stated, but I am focusing on people I know with complete stock motors, inclusive of stock injectors and still safely making 400 rwhp.

In the past, I seriously believed that the VQ35DE motor required the injectors upgraded/increased in size when upgrading to FI systems. But guess what, JWT is doing just that, complete stock motor and fuel delivery.

Which stock system would you more likely give CARB approval to, the stock motor with the upgraded fuel deliver with 500 cc injectors, or the stock motor with stock fuel delivery?

Way to try and put your spin on the "stock motor" issue. It doesn't matter if the injectors are stock. When someone asks for a stock motor kit they are really looking for a kit that will be reliable on the stock (non-built) block. They are looking for a kit (generally) that they can just install and be safe. If adding a better fuel system makes my stock motor TT kit safer then I'm all for that. Once you throw a turbo kit on a motor it's not stock so quibling about the fuel injectors is kinda silly.

you really believe all the crap you're slingin'?. You think overdriving oem injectors with an FMU is still a stock fuel system? ANY modification to the fuel system means it is no longer stock.

Why all the talk about carb cert? if it does happen, it won't be the exact kit that we are discussing here and like I said before, carb, only affects those in Cali.

I think you should just buy a super powerful blowdryer and fix it to the air intake. Then all you need is a simple AC/DC power converter and once that baby has power you will be pushing up to 5 pounds of boost! Thats good for 385WHP!! Yeah its not as cool as a turbo but it only costs like 100! Thats a secret no one on here will tell you but nearly half of us do it!
