Ive been searching and i havent found a direct answer, i know where i can get the tuner kit new for $3799 or used on the forums for a nice price...i want about 420 whp out of my car...ive put this together soo far


1). rc 440cc injectors
2). some kinda of ecu upgrade or tune...id appreciate some recommendations

not sure if ill need anything else if soo let me know and i appreciate the help

with the tuner kit you'll need 440-550cc injectors, a new fuel system like the CJM or AAM fuel return kit, and some engine management like a UTEC

or you can just buy the regular full vortech kit if you want to keep things simpler

 

well i would just but the full kit but i cant hit 420 rwhp on the fuel system they supply so this way ill save money in the end right?

 

all you would need is full kit + 3.12 pully and flash/tune to hit 400rwhp easily
for 420rwhp u need the 2.87 pully with bigger enjectors and pump.. thats it

IMO, anything past the 3.12 is pushing the limits of the rods.

 

I think the stock fuel system would probably work ok at 420whp. I think there's a few people running it at those power levels, but I don't know for sure. A return kit is usually the best choice

 

i got the 3.33 pully on right now and friday im switching to the 3.12 pully and im going to use stock injectors and pump. will be pushing 400rwhp hopefully.

 

so if i just plan to not build the motor up any time soon or at all....only runing about 380-400whp on the vortech .....do you think it will be faster and more fun to drive then a stillen stage 4.

i just want something reliable and fast....i know it two words you cant combine but you get my point

I installed the vortech kit myself and out of the box I went WOT a bunch of time ... super safe geting a tune with the 3.12 pully friday.... im loving it!

 

Add a Walboro 255 fuel pump.I would probably go with a 550cc injector too. Remember superchargers take horsepower from the engine to run them.......this means you need to supply even more fuel then you would on a turbo to make the same power with a supercharger.
