Expect to spend at least 5k after all is said and done for a built bottom end. Don't let that $1,099 fool you.... Talk to your shop and don't bother looking at Ebay for these things even though the Eagle rods and Arias Pistons are a great choice

You're going to spend AT LEAST another 10 grand if not a lot more getting anywhere near 600whp out of that car.

I read your other thread on ChicagoZ.com, good luck with the sale of the SC! Can't wait to check our your new setup/engine build... going with the APS TT?

You should keep the Vortech, and get the biggest stroker kit you can find. You may not get 600whp, but you should be able to get 500wtq.

I think it'll be hard to get much more torque than about 450tq at the wheels even with a huge stroker kit and massive headwork

4.2 and 10-12 psi should do it. Wishful thinking maybe.

TT, meaning twin turbo? 485tq is probably no problem with a twin turbo kit

increasing displacement with a supercharger only increases the power in the form of the NA power gain. The vortech and all other superchargers for the Z don't have a wastegate to maintain a constant boost pressure. Actually the supercharger only makes what it makes so it doesn't have extra power to bleed off out a wastegate

the 4.2 liter would probably gain 45 or so tq at the wheels

Change the pulleys. There was a Mustang at the track with a Paxton/Novi SC that did three wheel stands in a row. That was cool!

As far as I know, the OP is now going for a TT/built motor setup... He's listed the SC for sale on our local site if anyone is interested.
