Default Which plentum spacer to go with ?

My motor is going back together soon and im looking to put a spacer in while its apart. Any opinions on the best spacer for FI at the 600whp ish level. Should I get the AAM, 1/2 " motordyne, 5/16" motordyne ? Height is not much of an issue i'm not afraid of loosing my strut bar. Thanks Dave

Yea all this MREV2 or + lower plenum and 3 different type of spacers is driving me nuts too. From what I have seen while searching on this site the motordyne series did better in the Sports Z shoot out however this is just a overpriced piece of metal that rasies the plenum hight so really I don't expect much diffrence between any of them.

Most people seem to opt for the cheapest one they can get there hands on and I don't blame them.

Look here for some information.

For 600hp, spacer is not gonna be much of an issue.

Motordyne is what I use until the Cosworth gets here.

We have installed the motordyne MREV2 + iso spacer setups and customers seem to like them. In addition the the power gain, it gives the car a nice deeper growl. I have these in stock if you need.

Before I went FI, I noticed immediate gains with the Motordyne 5/16 spacer and isothermal gasket. One thing I really like about the isothermal kit is the coolant block off valve to stop hot coolant from warming the throttle body.

Yea the coolant block off def caught my eye, I was just gonna remove the hoses and block off the openings with some weld. But if this comes with a valve it will be nice to open it up on those cold Buffalo mornings.
