APS Single Turbo Owners- Anyone get the EW yet?
I haven't seen anyone posting about the new APS external wastegate setup. If you have it installed, thoughts? I'm scheduled to get this installed @ Genesis Racing and Development, Naperville IL (GRD) on Tuesday. In addition to the APS EW put on, I'll have the CJ Motorsports Stage II fuel system, UTEC, and another tune... hopefully I'll be @ 500whp or better.... I'm worried about too much tq, so I'll talk to Tuan about de-tuning it to around 500 lb/ft, or when they notice the clutch slipping.
Please keep us posted on this. You'd be the first to take the APS ST to 500+. Sugarspun is also building out close to this as well I believe... That GT35R has tons of potential if set up correctly (fuel sys, emu, etc.).
I'm sure you'll hit the mark, my only question is how far it'll go. Good luck

Update: Car was dropped off at GRD yesterday, crossing my fingers... hoping to be the first APS ST to break 500whp....

-CJ Motorsports Stage II Fuel System
-Deutchwerks (sp) 650 CC injectors
-APS EW setup
few other minor things as well...

I think the APS is a great system, but did I REALLY need the duel pump setup? Probably not. Since Chalres is local, he gave me a GREAT deal on his stage II system.... not to mention the plug for CJ's in my Turbo mag feature (July '07 issue). I am an APS supporter, but I'm being realistic with my goals. The same thing goes for the EMS.. sure... I could have dumped a few more k on the HKS... but again, why overdo it? "ballin on a budget" heh
