Default Turbonetics might loose business to sts with the 06zs

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

i been waiting and waiting for the tn kit to come out for the 06, i called they said they can do the flash for the 06 but they yet dont have a downpipe that would clear the steering rack. an 03-5 steering rack costs about 1,089 from ours truly nissan stealership and about 300-450 to install. is that going to be the EXTRA price us 06s have to pay? they did tell me they have one coming soon, but sts might beat them to the punch, oh well lost of business for them.

And the purpose of this post was? Is this thread going to some how make the downpipe magically clear or the steering rack magically move out of the way? Turbonetics will eventually make a kit for the 06 but there are other projects beng worked on right now. Upgrades for current kits, kits for other cars, etc. I personally would like to see Turbonetics do the 06 but its going to be a while as other projects that they have commited to need to get done. And I haven't seen a press release or any results on the STS kit so its not like they are in a rush either.

you sure? that could easily be a bait question for turbonetics to have to say "you have to modify the steering rack to fit"

I have been seeing and reading about 'viral' marketing becoming too prevalent in forums and I question anything that is worded like a PR firm speak.

I love a good conspiracy.

The rest of his posts don't fit as a shill, it isn't like he is getting a group buy together on them

that isn't the point of viral marketing. it is to act like a consumer that just really likes a product.

like you pointed out about ME and seibon. <although I hope that was a joke...

Every current Turbo kit on the market will fit an 06 with minor modifications to the steering knuckel..Not the rack..

Good info!!! Usually all it takes is a little ingenuity and some light creativity to make things work........

Everyone told me that I was going to have to wait for a special kit when I wanted a TN ST kit on my revup G. The only mods I needed to do were to hammer a "clearance dent" into the backside of one of the charge pipes to clear the new exhaust cam timing hardware and a slightly longer section of 3" silicone coupler..............not exactly rocket science. It is nice to see that you guys at MRC have figured out an easy way to make turbo kits fit the '06 steering issue!!!!

If it doesnt fit use a hammer, if that doesnt work your hammer isnt big enough.

https://my350z.com/forum/showthread....ht=lose+-loose

Lose = the opposite of win; to misplace something

Loose = Opposite of tight; to have sex with lots of men

you can't "loose" business or "loose" to a mustang

that is all
