Default blown fuel pump fuse

Anyone had problems with the fuel pump fuse blow while barely boosting? I was just driving around a little bit ago, barely got on the gas, maybe 2-3psi and I hear like a clunk/pop sound. My vdc had kicked in and right when it kicked in is when I heard the sound and then the engine died. I pulled off to the side of the road and tried restarting but all it would do was turn over and not fire. Checked my fuel pump and it wasn't kicking on when I turn the key on like normal and fuel pressure wasn't going up when cranking. It blew the fuse under the passenger side cover that you have take off, it was the top right one that that says ign contr and eccs but also runs the fuel pump. Any ideas why this would just blow. It is a walboro 255 with return fuel system on a greddy tt.

Was everything OK after replacing the fuse? If it keeps happening it could be your pump is failing.

well I've only driven home which is like 5 minutes. Everything sounds fine but I don't want this to keep happening.

you most likely have a wiring issues or electronics issue that blew the fuse that allows your ECU to power on. Without the ECU, your fuel pump will not prime or activate.

check if you have a short that is making contact with the body of your car. (wire on metal)

did you find out what caused it for you? I haven't had a chance to go through everything yet but it ran great the rest of the day.
