We are about to do one of the first 350Z turbo kits, but it is on a A5 car. Customer's only concern is whether or not the trans is going to hold ~ 400rwhp turbo'd.
Can any of you guys with 380rwhp - 430rwhp automatics comment? How much power can these hold stock? Any suggested upgrades that will make it last? Shift kit? Converter? Etc?
Also, we have about 3 more spots for the special intro price. Contact if interested.
shouldn't you be a sponsor if you're taking orders?
We are considering signing up to become a sponsor, but for now we dont yet have anything official to offer you guys. I was just asking about the trans. What I meant about contacting was that this is available to anyone, not necessarily from us. Contact STS for more info. If you are in the southeast (at least FL), they will refer you to us.

Normally all this would be around $6000 total. This intro price is amazing if you ask me. Dont count on getting all this for anywhere near 4500 once the kit comes out of testing phase.

Just going by what Ive heard from the source. On an auto im sure it wont be quite as much, and realistically, especially down here in our 90*+ heat and horrible humidity, im sure it wont be as much as they get up there either.

utec is included.. no flaming here stay On topic guys, he's asking if the tranny will hold which it should but it will strugle to shift, so you should have customer think about valve body upgrade, which isnt your problem as a producer.
I guess it doens't take a manufacturer having knowledge of a specific car anymore to make a turbo kit for it. With as long as this kit has been in the making I am very suprised they don't know or can't at least tell the customer the supporting mods they need for the horsepower they are aiming for.
You should be skeptical. Everyone was skeptical back in the day. I was looking at OLD OLD logs of the greddy kit when it first come out. People where averaging 340-350whp on twins. Skepticism is what drove vendors and manufacturers to push production of better quality ect.. I think this kit will turn out to be a great alternative to the APS and TN ST kits as well as the vortech kit. I have high hopes for this kit.
