Anyone got an tips to get the manifold/cat bolts out when rusted in?

Default Anyone got an tips to get the manifold/cat bolts out when rusted in?

OK im halfway threw the turbonetics turbo kit install but my exhaust is being a pain in the ***. I grinded all them off except the 3 on the manifold going to the cats on both sides....there in tight spot i tried wd-40 but no luck.....im curious how everyone else got theres off or if you got any tips id appreciate it

Plenty of extensions, universal joint and muscle and you can get the hard to reach one on the passenger side from the front of the car. I'd definitely do like the others suggest and use some penetrating lube and let it sit a while, spray again, let it sit, then try breaking them free again.

Did you start by using an heavy duty impact gun? I have never seen an exhaust bolt that could fight the nut-busting beating we put on it. If the nut is seized, the gun will snap it off...problem solved.
