Default Question to the APS guys

I ordered an APS Single Turbo kit with Tall Boy Plenum and APS Single Turbo exhaust from the only APS registered fitter in the country. The tuner is very good and has built some 800+ HP Skylines so I have no doubt of his tuning capabilities.

Problem is that being in South Africa the parts has already been 4 weeks since order and the kit will still only be here in 10 days. All except for the exhaust which will take another 4 or 5 weeks. The tuner said he will install it all except the exhaust once it arrives and will modify the standard exhaust in the meantime will the APS one arrives.

Reading these forums I know of the problem with the APS ST waste gate with back pressure. The question is would it be ok to use the stock exhaust until the new one arrives. The tuner would tune the car again after the new exhaust arrives, I know I will make less power which is not an issue I am jut worried about damaging the kit with the stock exhaust

Thanks

that is basically it. Might be less power with some boost tapering. You won't damage the kit.

Have fun with it. Turbo'd Z's are a blast
