So is the T-trim the blower that comes with the Vortech kit?

What would I need to put the T-trim on my Z. New piping? I might really be interested in it.

it'll bolt right on in place of the S-trim. Think of it like putting a 2.3 or 2.4 pulley on the S-trim blower (except it's made for that much boost). It'll output a lot more power. Booger has posted numerous times having trouble keeping it from slipping until he got his cog belt system. It's the same blower that vortech sells with their corvette C6 and Z06 kits

So I run a greater chance of blowing my motor with this blower? Even if I tune it properly and use race gas

it's a more powerful blower. What you'd probably want to do to start would be to put the 3.33 pulley on and see where you end up. I think it'd be equal or a little more powerful than the S-trim with 2.87 pulley on the normal grooved pulley setup.

Race gas never hurt, but you could probably get away with tuning rich and pulling timing, or if you were on a built engine you could lower the compression some so you don't have to run race gas

I had the 3.13 pulley on and a 34 tooth cog pulley . That should equal what the 2.87 would spin the blower at . It made MUCH more boost. 13psi by 5900rpm's . THEN the belt started to slip and then boost would very from 13 to 14.9 till redline . If the cog system fails to work..which I doubt....I'll go back to the serp belt system .
I still havent tuned this thing to its fullest . Sentry seems to think the T-trim is to much for the motor . For a stock motor yes...built NO !
Remember ...he said he has 477whp and 380trq. but cant light the tires up in 2nd with his 3.9 rear end . At 420whp and 348trq and I cant go passed 1/3 throttle in 2nd with a 3.5 rear AND an AT5 . The little bit wider tires he has....isnt going to make THAT much difference .
ANy way....with out a built motor I would stay with the stock blower .
