Charles, remember our late night AIM chats... I've been waiting.
in about a week i hope to put up a post asking everyone that has been trying to get one from us for the last year or more to contact me to make sure i am not forgetting anyone in the first production batch. i want to take care of all you guys that have been waiting and get a few to our dealers who have also been waiting... that should hold off the community for a while so we can catch up on other unfinished business.
to be honest, we are excited to get a little bit of money back after all the time spent on these things and prototyping them. obviously, we have yet to get 1$ back out of it. we have a lot of money spent on wasted materials and time on this thing... several wasted pumps and tons of material cutting units that we thought were done but now we have to throw them out and cut all new parts... hell, we have the parts to build about a dozen of the last version already anodized and just sitting around. today during a bored moment while brandon was adjusting something in the CAD i started cutting up parts on the bandsaw for fun cutaway views of the inside... next week we will just toss them in the aluminum recycling bin!

the latest prototype is completely assembled and ready for action. testing will almost definatly begin on monday. the testing is pretty basic now that we have the concerns narrowed down.
the first thing we check is that fuel pressure is stable under all conditions. our very first prototype had an issue with cavatation at idle because we had 2 primary siphons drawing fuel into the can and the return fuel blasting back in at high velocity created by the venturi transfer siphon to move fuel across the tank. this new one has 2 primary siphons again, however the return fuel is completely unrestricted as its no longer powering the transfer siphon, and there is a diffuser on the return fuel's inlet to the canister to slow it down and reenter the can in a more relaxed fashion. should be all good.
the second test is to ensure that the transfer siphon is working, and we are 100% confident in it now anyway. we just need to make sure that fuel is being transferred from the driver side of the tank to the passenger side faster than the engine can consume fuel... and its pretty much a definate with the new design.
we have the production process nailed down and ready to pull the trigger as long as it performs to our standards. updates will come later in the week now.

testing was a complete success. all concerns seem to be eliminated. now it just needs road testing.
the siphon was unstoppable, and we couldnt get it to quit working no matter what wierd circumstances we tried. pressure was solid as a rock at any setting. now it just neesd to be put in a car so make sure that in 100% real world it still works flawless, and also we would like to get some feedback on how low you can run the tank before pressure surges become a concern, we would hope you can go down to at least 1/4 tank if not a little below and not even have to think about it... but only real world testing will show.
tomorrow or wednesday we are going to put in the order for materials for make the first batch. only takes 2-3 days for materials to show up. so sometime next week i expect we will be cutting them out.
its time i start taking a list of who has been contacting me for the last year waiting for the first batch to finally be ready so i know how much material to order. feel free to shoot me a PM.
price? hard to say at this exact point, we have to put together our list of components and prices, then figure it out the whole retail/wholesale part of it. retail is going to be between 700-950... expect the higher side of that, this thing is very time consuming to machine and build.
I guess bumping this thread last week was a good idea, it reminded us to finish this thing up.

Note: right now we are not actually going to release a stage 3 kit or S2->S3 add-on, we are just going to release the twin pump assembly as a seperate item, and its going to be up the customer to plumb the twin pumps up to the hardpipe on the Stage 2 kit, or to whatever system they are currently running.
I NEED ONE. PLEASE PM ME WITH INFO. OR EMAIL ME A BILL TO: RRMEDICX@YAHOO.COM
I too have your stage 2, seeking to upgrade to your stage 3. If you let me know what I need to order in advance...i.e. 2 ss fuel lines, along with the AN fittings (sizes), I can do that now, before the pump arrives so I can be ready to plug & play.
Thanks.

im headed to the shop in a little bit here to pack up the prototype of the new version to ship to someone who is going to put it in their car right away and test it. We are currently making RX7 rails, then 50 sets of Z rails, then we will do the production run of these. I think that we will be physically able to produce them quickly in 14 days or so. I will also be content at least 7 days of road testing on it since there isnt much to test for on this.
