Default Ok to use 440 injectors w/ basic Vortech kit?

Buddy of mine upgraded to 750 injectors and has the 440's laying around. Can I use them with my basic Vortech kit? I don't plan on changing out the pulley, but if they're available might as well throw them in there right?

the best thing to do is to change the injectors, which i havent done yet on a forged engine. hopefully they will be installed soon

Just swap them out and get the car tuned at the same time, and you should be good to go, its always better to have an injectors that can provide the same amount of fuel at a lower duty cycle.

I thought this mod was more of a necessity than an option along with a 255, +2! Better safe than sorry, stock injectors FTB!

I ran stock injectors for two years and 18,000 miles with an upgraded 3.12 pulley. I was putting down 380 to the rear wheels on Sharif's "heart-breaker".

SOme guys on the G35 forums say its not a good idea to run 440s w/ the SS box and OEM ECU. Something about how the SS box cannot scale injectors.

Moog...do you have the stock Vortech fuel system ? If so...you may have to put a different washer into the FMU . To reduce the rising rate of the fuel preasure . The FMU is a 8 to 1 or a 6 to 1 , and fuel preasure may get to high under boost . Or ..I think several guys have put the Walbro pump in the tank and got rid of the inline pump and the FMU .

You can also send the ECU in and have it flashed for the 440's . So start up and idle is good .

Def. get the walbro. Dont count on that aux. pump. And like booger said your fuel pressure will get high.
