I'd like to see some kind of insulating jacket around that turbine housing as it will produce massive amounts of heat.

It looks like Turbonetics is done selling turbo kits with their ****ty smokey turbo's to the 350Z community wether it be stage I, stage II, or stage IIIIIIIIIII.

This is a top notch kit and with the 1.02 housing will have a huge powerband no doubt. I am interestd to see what the .83 housing can do.

It will be important to see what the price is on this. Maybe the Greddy will still be a better buy. The Greeddy w/FMIC is only $5800.

It is also nice that the intake piping is above the radiator so you can put in a thick core 54mm Koyo radiator.

Hello,

The hot side will be hot coated, standard. Heat shield is a possibility. More details will be available shortly, as well as pricing, numbers, etc etc -- basically everything. A thread will be created then.

Both myself as well as Jorge, and they guys from IOS have been receiving PM's from peoples today and yesterday, regarding the pricing, etc. At this time, those details haven't been released, and as stated above, will be in due time. We would like to thank everyone for their interest, posts, comments, etc.

D.

True, but I would still like to see Power Lab put a twin turbo GT35R kit into production too! I think something like that would be an awsome alternative to the APS Extreme kit and the SFR kit for the guys looking to go 800-1000+ whp.

Just because both turbos are denoted as GT35R's, doesnt mean they have the same flow capacity. First things first, the APS uses a custom internally gated housing. I doubt its anywhere near the size of the .82.

its got to be a .82, i used my spare aps single turbo on my 240, but ordered a new external wg housing from atpturbo, it was a .82 and is identical to the aps one. the only thing different is aps uses that tiny comp housing.

I was just pointing out that the same name can denote a range of turbo configurations - and hence power outputs.

The kit looks good for sure. I'll definitely be suscribing to this thread to get in on the details as they come out. It's great to see all these new turbo kits coming out of the wood work...but I'm more than satisfied with my Greddy Twins But it's certainly nice to have options.

Jorge,

I was making an inside joke to Derek. I'm sure that I could get you to change your mind though. Ever been in a 1500whp Supra, on ET drags, when it 2-steps on the freeway at 80mph? You hit 180mph before you can utter the word _UCK!! Ahahahah

If someone made a GT40R-42R for our cars, I would jump on it.
