Unless you are an experienced mechanic, you are better off leaving it up to the pros. I had a friend that was fairly good around a car. He installed his Greddy TT in his G35 by himself. Throughout the next couple of months he had a bunch of trouble cropping up. At the end he had no choice but to send his car to Jotech (Local experienced tuner) to get everything reinstalled properly and tuned.

There are only a handful of people, like myself, who have pull it off. Unless you have a very well stocked supply of hand, power, and air tools, drop your car off at a good shop. The greddy instruction suck!!!! and having a mechanic who is familiar with this kit will help tremendously when it comes to longevity and success!!!

My advice is to go with a shop!!!

you will have a lot of stress plus the added costs of towing your car somewhere and having someone "finish" your car if you dont make it through it.

it is a very tough install the first time around. you will need lots of crazy tools.

i say drop it off at a shop, greddy instructions suck, glad i dont look at them ever...

what's wrong with jackstands? I have a 4 ton jackstand and jack that can raise a tank (almost).

TT install should be done at the shop, imo.

well after debating with myself i think im just gonna drop it off at the shop. i did do a turbo install on my old car. but it was an inline-4 so life was easy for me. the main reason for going shop though is i cant really afford much down time. they said theyd get it done in one week. the only thing that sucks is theyre gonna charge me 1500. im trying to negotiate it down. but well see how it goes. wish me luck. lol
