Default AAM Return Fuel Basic Kit--Help!!

We were going to start installing The basic kit, and noticed it tells nothing of feeding the FPR w/ fuel. if any one has installed this or know anything it would help.

There are two inlets on the left and right and one outlet at the bottom for the retrun. Right inlet is to feed fuel rails & they give you a plug for the left one. So how do you feed it with out going to buy a new fitting and customizing the "kit" As you see in the pic. (ignore the arrow)

Need to get this finished.

Ok forgot to mention our theory,

Buying a fitting w/ a barb on the end, screw into inlet on the left and run a hose and clamp off to the fuel hose coming from the gas tank. So it would in our theory adjust the fuel pressure going from left to right.

So it would Gas tank to left inlet to right inlet to fuel rail and return through the bottom outlet to tank.

The regulator gets its fuel from the rails, in a kit with fuel rails the fuel gets fed to the back of the rails and then lines from the front of the rails go the FPR.

Since you went with the basic kit the FPR gets fed fuel by that line you pointed out connected to the rails. that is it.

So would I run the fuel line from the tank to the passenger side fuel dampner?

Wait I think I get it, we is feed thru the Driver side fuel damper and I would replace the passenger side one with the kit....?

Edit: mistated above. I feed the passenger side damper like stock and replace the driver side with the FPR and attach to the back of the firewall.

Well I have not done/seen one of these kits, but the fuel supply is the stock line and you would replace one of the stock dampeners with that block/short line, I would guess the passenger side since that is where the fuel feeds in, and connect that line to the FPR and then the return line back to the tank.

It seems this kit doesn't replace any stock components other than the dampener and the intank parts.

You guys are confusing me.

It's real simple... The stock damper is bolted to the passenger's side of the intake plenum. Remove the vacuum line going to it. Now remove the two bolts holding it on. Remove the old damper. Now, bolt the block (lower right of your picture) in place of the damper. Attach the new regulator to the firewall or someplace else secure. Attach the short hose between the new block and the new regulator (one of the side ports). Now attach the return line to the bottom of the regulator and run it back to the tank. Attach the vacuum line that you removed from the stock damper to the new regulator. If necessary, extend the vacuum line with a new piece of hose and a double-male nipple. Done.

your confused about how that system works. all the fuel lines are stock. all you are doing is adding a return line to the back of one of the rails. its real easy, that special fitting feeding the regulator bolts to the back of a rail, driver side i assume. thats it, your done. run the return line to the tank, and install the pump mods to get rid of the stock regulator.

Haha, oh okay. Well, doesn't the Extreme come with it's own regulators anyway? Why wouldn't you just use those?

Why would you add this to the aps extreme fuel system? This dosen't make any sense. The kit has everything you need pumps, lines, regulators, injectors, rails.
