Default 2 turbonetics install questions.....

There is one pipe underneath that is heat wrapped, but quite close proximity to the lower rad hose......normal?

The rubber intake on the front of the turbo rubs against the side of the rad itself......normal?

Thanks.

Yes it's normal based on my experience and some of people I know that have TN kit. Nissan just didn't leave enough room for FI application.

How close are we talking?

You may need to realign the turbocharger and/or tweak the whole setup to get it not to rub. I took quite a bit of time actually removing the turbine and compressor housings and aligning them to get mine to sit perfectly without rubbing.

I even heat wrapped my lower radiator hose, too. If you have any doubt, heta wrap it.....and then, wrap it again.

It is kinda like having sex with a Thai hooker,....don't take any chances, and double wrap it!!!

Its actually touching the side of the rad. My installer mentioned something about tweaking motor mounts to me...........

The intakes are different on the g vs the z, maybe its normal on the g35?

Thanks.
It shouldn't rub, you talking about the rad. or the rad. pipes/hardlines? I'm saying because you have to bend the pipes away for the thing to fit right....

The rubber intake that goes on the inlet of the turbo rubs against the side of the rad.
Thanks all.

My lower rad hose was about 2 secondes from blowing when I found out. I installed the silicone hoses heat wrapped the exhause and zip ties the hose out of the way.
