Default APS TT, What Catch Can?

Hey guys,

Since I'm having my APS TT installed now, i need a catch can. What are you guys using, what has worked well? I saw the DIY "Home Depot" Can, but i was thinking a Greddy or ARC can. Where have you guys mounted them and pics would be great.

PS I found a thread by Dubai, but it really didn't satisfy my question..

I am running the DIY home made catch and it seems to do the job just fine - gets to about 3/4 full after about 1200 miles

the small HD unti is good. I had the biger one, and I had small vacuum leaks from it. The reservior just sort of snaps into place , rather screwing in like on the small one.

has anyone sen the Lingenfelter unit; it is nice. It is a real air/oil separator, which is what you want, not just a "catch can."

UPDATE:

I just stopped by Home Depot today. They have redesigned their air/water separators. the big one now has a screw on reservoir that will seal better.

the drain petcock on it sucks, but I think I'll epoxy that biatch shut!!!!

Hahaha, I just did the exhaust same thing today, but I got mine at Lowes. For the drain on the bottom, I just plugged it with a small piece of 1/4" hose and a #8 bolt until I come up with a better solution.

I got a few drops of oil just in the first 5 miles (I was running it hard though).

Yeah, the fittings need changing out, its a bit cumbersome under there, but works a treat. Not a drop in my tank after 7k miles at 15psi.
