Yea, but you know Stan, YOUR Vortech system is "actually" not even close to CARB legal

You are not anymore legal in Cali as a TT kit is.

Well I placed my Vote and of course its for the JWT TT. I have always favored TT over SC and driven both setups, TT is so much better as far as power delivery, sound of the turbos spooling, torque etc. Well I am sure you already know. Plus if you are not a fan of the SC "whine" then you will enjoy the TT kit even more.

What ever you decide to do, we are here to help if you have any questions just give us a call or shoot me a PM, also you are more than welcome to come check out the shop if you would like

Take care and good luck, G35C FTW!

I was actually at your shop this weekend George. Very impressive. Sam was dyno tuning a 350Z when I got there. Like I said, I've never seen so many built FI'd cars in one place at one time. And not just G's and Z's either.

I'm not sure why the debate is still on. 10k will only get you Stock JWT kit with install and tune. Add gauges, flywheel/clutch and you'll be over 10k already.

From what I have been quoted, I can do the Vortech SC or JWT TT kit with gauges for under that $10k figure. That's the debate. Which of those 2 to get.

Then let the debate continue That's not a bad price for JWT with gauges. The lowest I have seen was when Performance Motorsports offered JWT Kit, spark plugs, gauges, clutch/flywheel install and tune for around $10,500.

Seeing an intercooler in front of the car is a big red flag that tells cops...hey look at me...pull me over. Next thing you know you are poping your hood so that the cop can check it out. If you have a C.A.R.B. sticker...they usually will say...nice car have a great day. No C.A.R.B. sticker will lead to a ticket...maybe even an impound and you having to visit the smog ref. every year.

I know this from experience...and it sucks. The cops actually do have a clue of what they are looking at. If they don't they usually will just point at it and ask you. From my understanding some of them actually have trainning on what to look for. If they cop is a punk he will just ticket you anyways and leave it up to you to prove it. If that happens then you will have to take the TT off and go get it smog at their ref...which will be a pain in the butt.

TT is fun...but the Vortech kit is C.A.R.B. approved with is a big plus in Cali.

Use the 2K for other supporting mods, breathing and cooling.
Or come to Vegas and put on Red. I'll buy you a drink win or lose.

+1,000,000,000!!!

Exactly the situation that I don't want to go through here in Cali.

I haven't read this whole thread, but I just wanted to vouch for Scott and RA's ability. They did the work on my car two weeks ago and they were top notch. Scott informed of the progress everyday and he did give me his honest and professional opinion about everything. The car is actually going back this week to get some gauges installed.

Hex, you better take yours to Scott or I'll hurt you..=)

BTW this is Canadian from Driver.

haha!! Sup Jordan. Yeah, Scott is a good guy. I can't make any promises at this point but RA is definitely still in the mix. Choosing the right shop is just as difficult and important as choosing the right setup. How's the JWT TT setup working for you??
