Props on going the different route, you shouldnt have to explain/defend yourself in every thread where some TT nuthugger questions you.
ST VQ's are about to start setting some serious numbers down on the dyno and the track... It's turning out to be a nice year for performance mods.
UPDATE
Since it is only one cylinder that is bad we will pull the head on that side of the motor and oil pan and inspect the #2 piston, cylinder bore, and head to see what the damage is. If the bore is ok then we will install another piston slap a new head gaskets on and reinstall the head. If there is some bore/head damage then I will be taking you up on your offer Sharif. It is much appreciated. I hope there is no damage to the head or bore.
We are going to videotape pulling the head so there are no insinuations.

What most ST's will be doing on race gas (whp), most Greddy guys do on 93 octane-damn it sucks not being original
BTW-whats the fastest you have run in your Z?
For the value, though, nothing beats an ST. THAT is undeniable.
Like watching that short video of Maximumsport and Tauran. Tauran was right there with that TT Z and never skipped a beat.
Twins are supposed to be the be-all-end-all of performance mods but on relatively stock motors, the price for TT's isn't justifiable (atleast around the time I bought my TN system).

And just to clarify, in case people missed it in the crazy 10+ pages of posts. We are doing this as a favor for a longtime customer of ours, not because we caused any of this damage. The oil return line in question, was removed and reinstalled by Larry..not by our shop. It doesnt matter, becuase the oil return line had nothing to do with the lossing 4-5 qts of oil in 300 miles, since the line was not leaking. I feel comfortable with the tuning as well, and seeing as how it was conservative, it couldnt have contributed to this engine's demise. The engine was assembled by GTM with our pistons and rods, and its not their fault either. But I want to help out, in any way that we can.
If I was a gambling man, it's highly doubtful that you have a cracked ring land. With over 120 sets of Arias ED pistons out there, i have seen zero reports of piston failures, so this would be a first. These are very structural sound pistons. I think you might something else wrong with that cylinder. Hurry up and take the head off!
I'll leave it alone and make my statements after I can back it up... But to all opinions involved, thanks for your

Back on topic and back to JET's engine:
Good luck with the break down and keep us posted. This should make for a very interesting outcome. I'm hopeful for you that this ends with more smiles and gay nut-swingin' stories of Sharif and Jeremy holding hands, singin' koom-by-ya while your car punches out 600+ to the wheels
