I am going to wait until I make my first million before I even think about going FI. I thought a built motor would be the safest way to go FI, but even with that, very expensive problems can arise.
I post a request for an update and everyone gives me s--- for how I plan to spend my first million. LOL
Definitely won't wait that long to go FI, but this thread has definitely drove home the fact that you could drop 12 grand in your car and turn it into a lawn ornament. Having a back up or at least an extra 10 grand to fix things if it goes bad are a must.
finishing inspection soon... already spent 3 hours, a few more to go, we will assemble the engine partially to check deck height...will start another thread very soon with photo documentation, full description of all tests performed, and conclusion of issue (remember engine DID not fail- symptoms were power loss at higher boost pressures)...
Don, feel free to pm me or call me if you have questions/concerns

Will do - appreciate you taking the time to promptly inspect the motor.
