Default max power stock engine / psi / system / type of FI

Hey guys,

I looking for the best numbers you were able to make on a stock boosted VQ on pump gas. I looked for a compilation but didn't see one. Anyways here's what I'm looking for.
turbo or SC?
who's system?
version of VQ (287, revup, etc)?
Max RWHP ?
Max RWTQ ?
what PSI ?
pump gas octane ?
supporting mods (exhaust, plenum spacer, etc)?
type of dyno?
and finally ambient temp?

Thanks.

So lets add a new car to that list. I know of this factory freak REVUP motor that would be a great canidate to push the limits.

Bring my car in next week?

on that thread, most people didn't list if they're on pump gas or race gas.

I would also like to see the max power for the stock engine ON PUMP GAS. (91 octane)

We did. Albreto was posting what Function Tuned did on another car.

I think these types of threads don't really tell us much...other than who has the ***** to try to blow up their engines.

And since dynos read all over the place, someone's 500whp might be someone else's 450whp.

For what its worth....
https://my350z.com/forum/questionable-posts/250645-my-track-day-testing-results-gtm-14psi-stock-block-550whp.html
518rwhp @ 12psi pump gas, Didn't let go until several weeks later when I beat the **** out of it on Willow Springs road course. I have no doubts it would have still be running to this day if I didn't track the **** out of it that day( and it wasn't just me driving the car it was 2 of us! )

Hope this helps,

Agreed! When I took the stock motor to that level it was purely for R&D to determine what we could offer in terms of power for our Stock Block Warranty Program. The motor has never again run at those levels (after replacing it with a stock motor) and never will.

BTW the 563 DD was with C16.

At this point, I think it's safe to say that our cars can make mid 500's on a stock block, but that they'll only hold up for so long at those levels. There's a ton of different factors that come in (i.e. dyno, fuel type, complete mod list) but at the end of the day our engines are only good for so much... It's been stated already on another thread, but for what it's worth, 400-ish is what most tuners and shops will consider reliable at this point and time...
