I'm almost positive it's not. There should be an o-ring about 4-5" in diameter that sits between the top of the tank and the pump assembly that seals the assembly and the tank. If its worn, then fuel will slush over and out.

The O-ring you want actually sits on top of the fuel tank in a grove and the assembly seals down on top of it.

$22 is WAY too much for that. you need to have an 'in' at the dealership and get deals on OEM parts. I think I pay 7-8 bucks for these O-rings; Heck I keep one on hand just in case.

Talk to Irshad, I bet he may have one on hand, or at least get you one for cheaper than $22.

I went to the Nissan dealership and got it for $10.73. Hope it helps.

Theres got to be a better way to seal the fuel assembly off. Just replaced my O-ring because I was getting the fuel smell and now it seems worse. The smell is so bad. Im wondering if its the return fuel tap into the assembly?
